Hello, I'm Lily.
My name is Lillian Rice, and I am a Art Educator, a Graphic Designer, and a Dance Educator. Artistic expression is my passion and I strive to implement this idea into all aspects of my career. My extensive education in ballet, design, and art education pairs wonderfully with my dedication to the arts and my intense care for my clients, students, and dancers.
My Experience
For my education career, I have completed student teaching placements at Robeson Elementary School and Centennial High School. I have also completed numerous practicums throughout the Central Illinois area. Throughout my time as an educator, I have been a ballet instructor to ages varying from 4-50, and have counseled hundreds of children at summer camp. I also have done several commissions for my personal artwork, and fulfilled the role of Senior Graphic Design Intern at the University of Illinois Research Park. I have designed merchandise for local clothing companies and soccer teams. I have been in several art shows/exhibitions in both high school and college.

My Goals
Currently, I am both an art educator and dance educator for the Champaign Park District. In the future, I hope to expand my skills in design and art creation while being an effective teaching artist. I also hope to obtain my MFA in either Ballet Education, or Design.
