Students work in their sketchbook to practice value with multiple charcoal tools. 

Students complete guided skill building drawings with oil pastels, soft/chalk pastels, and colored pencils. 

Students use what they have learned through skill builders to design their own composition. 

For this advanced 2D/3D project, students are to pick an object, material, or animal and zoom in to create a new composition.
